Now that we are well into January and on our way to 2019, what are you wanting to create or accomplish in 2019?
Don’t be too hard on yourself! If there is something that stresses you out, but you “think” you need to do it, drop it! The stress is not worth it, believe me!
Do you practice Affirmations? Do you practice them with intent and love and truly believe them? Have you heard of Afformations? This is using an affirmation but turning it into a questions. For example:
Affirmation: I love and approve of myself
Afformation: Why is it so easy to love and approve of myself?
See the difference? Choose to trust and be kind to yourself.
Schedule self-care. Examples:
Take a walk around the block
Go outside every hour and get some fresh air
Take a few deep breaths at a stop light
Take time to read a little everyday
Stretch, yoga, feet up the wall
Listen to relaxing music
God has given us the gift of creation. We all have an imagination, a dream. You can make it a reality. Do not allow negative energy to come into your dream (energy from friends, family who are not lifting you up), but rather get a cheerleader or tribe that can speak truth to your dream.
Imagination >>>Creation>>>Ability to see it clearly>>>manifesting it into reality
Anchor your dream with a devotion (belief), telling yourself and God you can do it. Do it with love.
Believe “Yes, this is possible”
Soon your reality is grounded, people are seeing what you are doing and they want to join in, God connects you with the right people, and your dream becomes a reality.
Be open to receiving it.
The moment you say something negative, you are cancelling out everything you’ve dreamed. Keep your thoughts positive! Keep fear out.
If you dream it you can make it possible!
Simple things done regularly have the longest lasting impact.
Here’s to manifesting and dreaming into 2019
Ayurverdic Winter Balancing Stewed Apples (Compliments of my friend Amy Konkoly)
2 apples, peeled and cored, chopped (gala)
4-5 dried unsulfured apricots (soaked in hot water for 20 minutes)
4 dates, pitted and cut
1-2 cups filtered water
1 T. fresh ginger or 1-2 d. ginger essential oil
¼ tsp. ground cardamom or 1 d. cardamom essential oil
¼ tsp. ground cinnamon or 1 d. cinnamon essential oil
Put all ingredients in a medium saucepan. Bring to boil. Reduce and cover. Simmer for 5 minutes
If desired, puree a portion of the cooked apples to make more of a sauce. Enjoy!
