People often ask what my favorite oil is, and I usually tell them it changes from time to time. Of course, I have the standards…lavender, frankincense, past tense, on guard….
I’m going to try to highlight an oil I’m drawn to so you too can learn about it. There is a reason we are drawn to them. Lately, for me, it’s been Rosemary. I had to open up my guide for Essential Emotions to see why I may be drawn to Rosemary lately.
First of all, I love the fresh, clean smell. For some of you, it may be like cilantro…you either love or hate. I love mixing equal drops of Lavender, Lemon and Rosemary in my diffuser for a fresh, clean aroma. That has always been my favorite. Also, cooking with Rosemary is wonderful as well. BTW, I hear it’s good for memory too….
I want to share with you what my Emotions book says about Rosemary.
The Oil of Knowledge and Transition
Rosemary assists in the development of true knowledge and true intellect. It teaches that one can be instructed from a far greater space of understanding than the human mind. It challenges individuals to look deeper than they normally would and ask more soul-searching questions so that they may receive more inspired answers.
Rosemary assists individuals who struggle with learning difficulties. It bring expansion to the mind, supporting the individuals in receiving new information and new experiences.
Rosemary aids in times of transition and change. When a person is having a difficult time adjusting to a new house, school, or relationship, this oil can assist. Rosemary teaches that one does not understand all things because they have a mortal perspective.
It invites individuals to trust in a higher, more intelligent power than themselves. It supports them in feeling confident and assured during times of great change in understanding or perspective. Rosemary roots them in the true knowledge that surpasses all understanding.
NEGATIVE EMOTIONS: Confused, difficulty adjusting or transitioning, limited perspective, difficulties with learning.
POSITIVE PROPERTIES: Mental clarity, knowledgeable, teachable, enlightened, open to new experiences, ability to adjust
SUGGESTED USES: Inhale from bottle, diffuse. Can apply 1-3 drops on back of neck, forehead, or behind ears. Take 1-2 drops under the tongue or in a capsule or in water.
WOW! What timing for this oil with what we are all going through. A time of transition for sure, being quarantined on our homes, unsure of what is to come.
Try some Rosemary today! Inhale right from the bottle and have faith that this too shall pass.
If you are drawn to an oil for some reason and you don’t know why, look it up in the Emotions book….you may become surprisingly enlightened!
